4. Dried fruits and nuts

You can grab a handful of raisins, dates or dried cranberries or apples as a healthy snack that is good for digestion.

5. drinking water

Mothers tend to feel thirsty because of breastfeeding, so it is advisable to drink at least 3-4 glasses of water and 2 cups of coconut water per day, this will keep their body hydrated and encourage bowel movement.

Yogurt is not only useful as a stool softener, but also has important probiotics to fight urinary tract infections (UTI). To avoid constipation, breastfeeding mothers can eat half a cup of yogurt every day.

These six foods are needed during post partum to prevent constipation. Post partum generally lasts for 6 weeks or 42 days. So make sure you keep your intake of healthy foods during the recovery.
