6 skin problem that usually affects infants

Baby’s skin is the most delicate and sensitive skin type. So it is not surprising that they are very sensitive to rashes or scratches. Here are some skin problems that are vulnerable in infants.

Diaper rash
Diaper rash skin disorder is inevitable. Because diapers are always used babies. If your baby experience this, immediately apply a special cream to reduce the rash.

Baby acne
Baby face can also be covered by acne. But  the acne is not too severe. So you do not need to apply any cream to get rid of acne because it can heal itself naturally.

Eczema
Eczema or red rash usually occurs in infants who have a history of allergies. Eczema usually appears on the face, chest, arm, or elbow and gradually makes the skin dry and flaky. Eczema will get worse if triggered by an allergic reaction to soap or detergents used for washing baby clothes.

Dry skin
Most newborns will experience dry skin and peeling for several days. This process is normal but if it persists, parents should immediately take their infant to the doctor for proper treatment.

Prickly heat
Prickly heat usually appear in the folds of the skin and skin condition that occurs due to damp. If your baby experience this, avoid tight clothing.

White spots
White spots or also known as milia  sometimes appears in the nose caused by skin flakes that inhibit oil glands. But you do not need to panic, because this disorder may disappear by itself.

Those are some skin problems commonly suffered by babies. If your baby experience it, you do not need to panic. Perform light treatment to cure it.
