Be careful when shaking hands with others
Shaking hands when meeting with someone you know is a common thing to do. Because it is a part of a culture that is practiced by people everywhere.
However, a study reported by dailymail.co.uk advise you to be careful with these simple habits. Research conducted at the University of Texas in Austin have warned you of the possibility of the spread of bacteria, germs, viruses because of shaking hands.
“You will never know what bacterial or viral diseases are contained in one’s hand. You also do not know anything that they hold. The possibility of the spread of viral diseases is very high,” said Sheril Kirshenbaum, researcher and author of The Science of Kissing .
Not only that, Kirshenbaum also said that kissing is actually healthier than shaking hands even though many people think that kissing will transmit a lot of bacteria. “When kissing bacterial infection does occur, but it will trigger a rise in the human immune system naturally. Not like shaking hands that is more dangerous than kissing.”
Of course you should not avoid shaking hands with someone. So as a precautionary measure is to increase your body’s immune system from the inside like eating healthy foods.
