These are types of nuts that contain a lot of content of vitamin E and antioxidants. These contents are known to be good for maintaining immunity. Besides containing lots of vitamin E and antioxidants, almonds are also known to contain vitamin B which has a effect to calm the mind. So this type of nut has benefits to ward of stress. You can try sprinkling almonds on your salad dish for example, or you can try some almond butter on your bread.

According to Associate Professor of biobehavioral health at Penn State, Sheila G West, MD, stress occurs due to an increase in the adrenaline hormone which will also increase blood pressure and energy. And according to another study done by west, a half ounce of walnut consumption a day also helps lower blood pressure, so the heart does not work too hard. When you’re under pressure, try a salad, cereal, or oatmeal made from these nuts.

Avocado could be the right choice of food to overcome excessive panic. This fruit contain good fats which is also known to be able to calm the mind, so it is also good to overcome stress. Based on a study at the National Heart and Blood Institute, one way to reduce blood pressure is to eat avocado, because it has a content of potassium which is known to have the ability to lower blood pressure.

– Skim-milk

– Oatmeal
Oatmeal contains carbohydrates. This content is important for human health because it will make the brain produce more serotonin and chemical compounds that is relaxing and calming. According to Judith Wurtman, Ph.D., an MIT scientist who is also the author of ‘The Serotonin Power Diet’, the more the body absorbs carbohydrate, there will be more serotonin. Besides that oatmeal takes longer for the body to digest. the long digestive process makes your body do not easily get hungry. So, besides dealing with stress, it is also good for your diet program.

When faced with stress during a presentation with a client, you can actually deal with it easily. Drink a glass of Florida orange juice or just eat the fruit. Vitamin C in orange-colored fruit gives immunity to the body and reduce stress.

A psychopharmacology research conducted in Germany, gathered 120 people  who were given 3000 milligrams of vitamin C, and they felt the stress hormones are reduced. Likewise, the blood pressure also returned to normal.

Besides in salmon, you may also find DHA and fatty acids in eggs, yogurt, milk and other soy products, but they are not as good as what is contained in salmon.

Other vegetables that can be calming is spinach. The content of magnesium and minerals that are found in spinach can help lower your stress level. Less intake of magnesium can cause headaches and make you feel tired. If you do not really like spinach, you can mix them in a sandwich or salad for breakfast.
