Beware of Psychopath Character in Children
Not only in adults, psychopathic character can also be found in children. According to recent studies at University College London, one percent of the entire population of children is expected to have this character.
The researchers warn that traditional parenting that is tend to be hard to discipline children can be one of the triggers.
However, mistaken parenting is not the only cause of the child being a liar, manipulative, and likes to do mischief without remorse.
According to one researcher, professor Essi Viding, genetic factors are also closely associated with the emergence of psychopathic character.
“However, that does not mean they are born antisocial or meant to be. Just as some people are more prone to heart attacks, these children are also more susceptible to environmental influences that can trigger antisocial attitudes,” said viding, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
Parents who have children with psychopathic tendencies often can not do anything to control it.
However, it does not mean that children with psychopathic tendencies can not behave well.
The same study showed that children with psychopathic character can behave well with warm parenting.
