Big Stomach make blood pressure go up!
Do you have a fat stomach? Be careful. Because a fat stomach contains fatty deposits that can cause high blood pressure or hypertension.
The above is based on a study conducted by ‘the Heart’ Dallas, Texas. The study involved 903 people who have fat belly to be studied within an average of 7 years. As a result, it was found that fat belly is able to correlate with the increase in blood pressure.
“Fat in a fat abdomen is called visceral fat. This fat is located deep within the abdominal cavity in between important organs such as the heart. When these fats affect blood flow, the heart has to work hard to pump blood to flow to the whole body. And while the process is running continuously, then the blood pressure will increase, “explains the study’s authors T.Turer Aslan. “This type of visceral fat is also able to form a body to shape like an apple or pear.”
The study, also published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology states clear that the growth of abdominal fat has nothing to do with gender, age, or race.
