Buy These Types of Foods with Organic Labels

Consumption of organic foods had become a trend in recent years. Why should people buy organic foods?  The producers say that organic food is highly recommended for health because it is free of pesticides and other chemicals in the planting process. But is this vegetable worth to be called as an extra vegetables for health benefits which can even change your waist size to become smaller?

Several studies have shown that organic foods and regular foods’ nutritional content only has a fractional difference. Usually people buy organic food because they believe of its safety. For foods which have a thick skin, it seems you do not need to buy the organic type. Because the skin is quite capable to protect from pesticide residues.

But for the following food ingredients, you should buy organic types! In addition to all kinds of vegetables, of course. Previously it was known that organic food can help people to live long and healthy.

Beef
Regular beef is enough to give health benefits. However, with certified organic meat at least it could keep us away from the effects of growth hormone injections, antibiotics, and, drugs given to the cow.

Eggs
The eggs we often eat , almost every day. You’ll want to replace it with the organic type. Similarly like in cattle farms, many conventional poultry feed the chicken with processed materials that contain growth hormones and chemicals. A very thin eggshell can not protect the absorption of these materials.

Rice
Ordinary rice plants rely heavily on the use of heavy pesticides. So does the water around that is used to irrigate rice fields, some rivers are also polluted now. Organic rice is highly recommended for children at the age of growth. To get organic rice at lower prices, buy it in large quantities at once.

Wheat and corn
Pesticide residues were even found in leading brands of cereal. For processed foods made with ingredients such as cereal grain, and corn such as corn chips, tortillas, popcorn, and bread select ones that are free and safe from chemical residues.

Ketchup
More than 75 percent of tomatoes grown in the United States are used for plantation of processed foods, including ketchup. It makes sense if you ensure organic tomatoes. The study found that organic tomatoes are not contaminated with chemicals can function both as antioxidants and nutrients.

Peanut butter
If you are a fan of bread with a smear of peanut butter, choose organic butter. Most of the peanut butter products uses peanut ingredients from conventional farmers that use fungicides and pesticides on the planting process.  Peanut butter will usually contain additives and high fructose.

Apples and strawberries
Apple juice, applesauce, and a whole apple, or any kind of apples processed foods should be chosen with an organic label. This fruit is one of the most common fruits that is sprayed with pesticides. Because the skin is thin, these chemicals are easily absorbed.
