Black tea reduce the risk of diabetes?

Many people had compared the efficacy of black tea and green tea. Well, recent studies have found that the number of people with type 2 diabetes is lower in countries whose citizens like to drink black tea. These findings support previous studies that says that regular black tea consumption is associated with risk of diabetes, as reported by Health.

Ariel Beresniak, a scientist from the Data Mining International, in Geneva, Switzerland, and her colleagues have examined the consumption of black tea in over 50 countries on every continent. They did the study in 2009, and compared rates of diabetes, cancer, respiratory diseases, infectious diseases, and cardiovascular diseases. (more…)
