Coffee Does Not Increase Hypertension Risks
Coffee often becomes an enemy for people with high blood pressure or hypertension such as heart disease and stroke. However, a study in the United States revealed that there are no evidence that coffee may increase the risk of the disease.
‘American Journal of Clinical Nutrition’ reported the result of the research after combining previous studies, which includes a study of 170 thousand people. “As a result, habits of drinking 3 cups of coffee a day has nothing to do with an increased risk of hypertension,” said Liwey Chen, a researcher of Public Health at the Louisiana University in New Orleans, according to Reuters.
