No direct link between HIV treatment to the case of stroke have been found, but the tendency of people living with HIV to suffer a stroke leads to the notion that HIV medications make cholesterol and triglyceride levels to rise. Survey: Women More Often Experience Stress Than Men

The research also mentioned that one of seven British women experience severe stress. The experts in the research added that the extraordinary stress can cause blood pressure to rise, causing stroke.

In England and Wales, stroke is the third most deadliest disease after heart attack and cancer, which killed 67 thousand people every year. Meanwhile, about 150 thousand people suffer a stroke each year. (more…)

Apparently not. At least according to a study to see the link between fish consumption and stroke. The survey conducted in the area called “stroke belt” in America, namely Carolina, Arkansas and Louisiana, because of the high stroke patients in this area, found that the majority of the population regularly eat fish, but processed by frying.
