Most American children do not get enough sleepAmerica is a country with the highest number in case of lack of sleep, especially in children. A study at Boston College found that the number of American children who sleep less are 30 percent higher than the international average.

Sport activities in school avoid adolescents from bullyingSports activities in schools are known to have health benefits. However, recently researchers discovered other benefits of exercise, namely to avoid girls from violence and prevent teenage boys from bullying at school.

This study was conducted on 1,800 high school students aged 14 to 18 years in North Carolina Youth Risk Behavior Survey. From these data the researchers found that 25 percent of children playing team sports, individual sports nine percent, and 17 percent played on both. (more…)
