Do not eat heavy meals after 6 pm!
Work schedule and the being busy can often make you eat dinner after 6 o’clock. In addition, habits also apply you to have dinner at 7 pm. Though you might face health hazard at this meal.
A study mention that dinner or eating food after 6 pm is able to cause a series of health problems and abdominal obesity. Especially when you choose a dinner menu high in carbohydrates and oils.
“At night is the phase where your body system slows down, so does the digestive system. So eating heavy meals at this time will only make the food can not be digested and burned well. There will be pile of food that could potentially lead to obesity,” said Dr Neil Stanley, an independent researcher from the UK.
“It does not mean you should not eat at night. However choose a diet that is not too heavy. I advise you to eat bananas at night because bananas contain an amino acid called tryptophan. Thise substance will produce the hormone melatonin, which is able to make your sleep become restful.”
