Easy Ways to Reduce Breast Cancer Risk
There are easy ways to reduce the risk of developing breast cancer for women. Woman should known what they must do to avoid breast cancer. Well, only by walking for half an hour every day, you can reduce the risk of cancer by 30 percent.
Women who do moderate exercise per week including 10 hours of house work has reduced the risk of cancer at any age.
American scientists believe that exercise and light activity helps prevent the formation of fatty tissue which in turn leads to cancer tumors. During the analysis, researchers compared the lifestyles of 3,059 women aged 20-98 years old, including 1,504 patients who had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Every woman are asked to record their physical activity per week, including walking, housework, bicycling and jogging. In conclusion, women who are active 10-19 hours a week, have 30 percent lower risk of breast cancer.
Lauren McCullough, from the University of North Carolina, insists she does not need to go to the gym to maintain health. “You do not need to do heavy exercise, run a marathon or tredmill every day. Walking, doing housework or cycling is enough,” he said.
But a study published in the Cancer journal , found the benefits of exercise to prevent breast cancer is reduced when women are overweight. Unexpectedly, the hormone that drives tumor become higher in those with a lot of fat.
Oxford University in last year’s study also claims obesity is a major cause of breast cancer in elderly women. Obesity is an even more important trigger than the consumption of alcohol or smoking. Therefor, it is known that losing weight prevents breast cancer.
