Eating fruits and vegetables is not enough to lose weight!
Eating fruits and vegetables has always been one thing that is recommended for weight loss. However, a recent study reveal just the opposite. The researchers explain that eating fruits and vegetables is not enough to help people lose weight.
The was results obtained after researchers analyzed seven studies. They found the link between the consumption of vegetables and change the effect on body weight, as reported by Healthy Living (25/06).
“Based on all these studies, eating fruits and vegetables have hardly any effect to help you lose weight,” said Kathryn Kaiser, researchers from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Kaiser further added that the results of these observations indicate that the consumption of fruits and vegetables alone can not help a person lose weight. Many people tend to get a fairly simple message that eating fruits and vegetables will help them lose weight. Though this is not true.
Eating fruits and vegetables is not going to make you fat, and also can provide many health benefits as vitamins and fiber in them. Still eating fruits and vegetables can not be counted on to lose weight. If you want to lose weight, a person must do other things as well, not just eat vegetables and fruit.
At least eating fruits and vegetables can be the first step to lose weight, along with proper diet such as reducing fatty foods, daily calorie intake, and exercising regularly.
