Eating more broccoli prevents asthma
There have been many health suggestions that advise you to multiply healthy foods such as green vegetables. In addition to improving overall health, eating green vegetables can also help you lose weight quickly.
Recently, a study conducted at the University of Melbourne says that eating many broccoli can help nourish the lungs of asthmatics. This is because broccoli contains natural sulforaphane in it. This natural substance is beneficial for healthy lungs of asthmatics, and also even able to prevent asthma in children.
“Not only does it contain sulforaphane, broccoli is also high in vitamins A, C, B6 and iron. All these natural nutrients can improve lung health,” said Dr. Tom Karagiannis, leader of the study.
He also added that the vegetables are included in the cruciferous family, including cabbage, cauliflower, kale, and pok choy contains many beneficial antioxidants to boost the immune system.
