Exercise one hour a day prevents heart failure!
Many people claim to not have much time to exercise. When in fact, did not need much time to keep in shape. Recent studies reveal that even for one hour exercise alone can provide health benefits, especially heart health.
Recent research conducted by the American Heart Association revealed that exercise for an hour is enough to reduce the risk of heart failure by 46 percent, as reported by the Women’s Health Mag (04/09).
This result was found by Swedish researchers after analyzing 39 805 people aged 20 to 90 years who have never experienced heart failure. Since then, they make observations about the level of fitness, physical activity, smoking and drinking alcohol, and drug use. They then compared the results with the participants’ risk of heart failure.
The result, researchers found that exercise an hour a day is enough to reduce the risk of kidney failure by 46 percent. Meanwhile, those who have the highest risk are the elderly age with a BMI (body mass index) higher and higher hip ratio.
Although this study shows that men are more at risk of heart failure than men, but exercise for one hour a positive effect on both. Therefore, do not have time anymore unreasonable to exercise. One hour is enough to provide great benefits to the health of your heart!
