Lack of sleep drains us, reduces our sex drive, memory loss, lack of concentration and even leads to a loss of appetite. Furthermore, sleep deprivation affects the brain and our performance levels drop. Sleep deprivation also induces weight gain. Hence, it is important to get sufficient sleep to prevent health problems, in the long run.
