Listening to music using headphones damage your ear
A study showed that young people who often use headphones with high volume are more susceptible to hearing loss than young people who rarely use headphones. This result was found by researchers at the New York City Health Department.
This study found that nearly 25 percent of people aged 18-44 years who use headphones with high volume experience hearing loss as a ringing in the ears, as reported by the NY Daily News (12/07).
Hearing problems are found in 23 percent of people who listen to music through headphones at high volume, compared to only nine percent of those who never use headphones and 10 percent of people who rarely use headphones.
