According to Woman’s Day, Here is an easy way to improve your health and get important nutrients you need without a strict diet. Eat salad every day could be the answer.
“The main reason to eat salad is to help reduce the energy density of the diet,” said Brian Zehetner, MS, a registered dietitian at Anytime Fitness in Hastings, Minnesota.
“You can eat a huge amount of salad for a small amount of calories,” he added.
Through a bowl of salad every day, you can give your body nutrients that have been issued through the various activities, such as vitamins C and E, selenium, beta carotene, and fiber. To serve the salad, add 3 ounces of skinless chicken to meet the body’s protein needs.
Brian explained that if you eat a salad once a day for a year, you could lose up to 30 pounds without making other major changes in food intake.
“Eat salad only once a day, for lunch or dinner, your body will feel the difference,” he said.
