Every 5 Years

• Physical Examination
National Institutes of Health advise women to perform a physical examination at the age of their 20s and 30s. The things that are examined include the overall physical condition, neurological, vital organs and blood circulation in the body.

• Cholesterol
If you are already 20 years old, your cholesterol must be checked every 5 years. The inspection process is done very fast and deep. Once you get past 12 hours, you will do a blood test to measure levels of total cholesterol, the amount of good and bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

• Pap smear

• Breast Examination
This is important to prevent and know how great the risk of breast cancer are. According to the American Cancer Society, women in their 20s and 30s must conduct a clinical breast exam every three years.

Women are advised to begin a test of annual mammograms starting 40 years old. However, for women who have a close family history of breast cancer, it is suggested doing mammograms earlier.

Every two years

• Eye Examination
The American Optometric Association recommends to perform a thorough eye exam every two years. In addition to a medical check, you also should undergo a visual acuity to see the level of need for glasses.
