June 12, 2012 By: Jane Category: Wellness

bieber feverA recent study from the University of Ottawa, Canada, found a highly contagious infectious disease. The very fast outbreak of this disease is called the Bieber fever.

A research conducted by Valerie Tweedle and Robert J. Smith said Bieber fever spreads through contact with “infected person” and media exposure. Transmission of the disease is even faster than the transmission of measles.

With mathematical formulas, researchers analyzed the popularity of the singer, Justin Bieber, and discusses the biological impact on those infected. “Bieber Fever has properties similar to other infectious diseases, such as high speed of transmission in a large population,” researchers said, according to Canoe.

Biological impacts include uncontrollable crying, or shouting, excessive purchase of memorabilia, mimicking the physical figure of the idol such as hair style, to causing other lifestyle disorders.

Researchers also found that this pop fever had also once hit when boyband were famous worldwide, including the New Kids On The Block (NKOTB) and Backstreet Boys (BSB).

Researchers revealed that the media can be a negative spreader, which informs the artist lifestyle problems such as Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears as something positive. In contrast, how to control  this infection lifestyle, is to publish negative image rather than positive ones. Among other casual sex lifestyle just for a haircut.

Besides that, the study said, the infection will be cured when the age exceeds 17 years old. “Bieber fever eradication is a challenge that involves both local and media. It is difficult in practice, but never any turning back,” the study said.

The research was published in the Transworld Research Network  journal.
