People in England Are More Fit at Age 50
In a survey of more than 1,500 people over 50 years, they live much healthier compared to when they were in their 20s. A total of 7 out of 10 of the respondents said that they did more exercise.
The survey conducted by Engage Mutual insurance agency also shows that men and women aged over 50 years old, eats more fruits and vegetables than when they were younger. “It’s a good news, changing our perceptions, that aging is linked to diseases,” said a spokesman for Engage Mutual, Louise Withy, according to the Telegraph.
In the survey, it was also revealed that one in five respondents feel more energized than when they were in their 20s. With this result, men who have an average age of 65 years old have life expectancy up to 82 years old, while women have a life expectancy to 85 years old.
