Some canned foods are better than fresh food


We have always believed that fresh food is definitely more qualified than canned or packaged foods. Apparently, such an assumption is not true for all foods. Some foods actually are better when packed than fresh. As reported by Shine.

Wild salmon that are packed in cans full of water turned out to be more nutritious than fresh wild salmon. These fish contain more omega-3, vitamin D, and calcium. Besides, the canned food is also cheaper than fresh wild salmon.

2. Tomatoes
Tomatoes that are packed through the heating process, including ketchup, contain more lycopene than fresh tomatoes. Lycopene is anĀ anti-oxidant that are very useful for fighting cancer.

3. beans
Did you know that a 1/2 cup of beans each day can reduce your consumption of fatty foods, increase the intake of fiber, protein, and iron in the diet? Well, canned beans can also do the same things asfresh green beans. In fact, the canning process removes natural compound that makes you easily exhaust gas.

So, those are three meals with better quality when going through the process of canning and packaging compared to fresh food.
