It turns out that autism can be detect at an early age. Recent research has shown that autism can be recognized in infants in the first year. Autism can be caused by many factors, study even revealed that babies with less weight have a chance of autism.
“Symptoms are characterized by different brain response than other babies,” said Director of the Center for Brain and Cognitive Development at Birkbeck College, University of London, Johnson, last week.
The conclusion, which was published by the Current Biology Journal, followed 104 study of infants aged six to ten months. Then resumed when the baby was three years old. For the purposes of the study, the researchers used passive sensors that are placed on the scalp.
