The researchers revealed that the refrigerator is a hidden nests for a variety of harmful germs, including E. coli, Salmonella and Listeria. Even more alarming, they are found in the vegetable drawer only.
The test results of 30 different vegetable drawer shows surprising amount of bacteria contained in it. Average of 7850 colony-forming units of bacteria per cm2 (cfu/cm2). In certain cases, found 129 thousand bacteria per cfu/cm2. (more…)
Sewers are inhabited by various living things. No wonder this place has the most diverse types of germs, including hundreds of viruses that have never been known before.
A total of 234 new viruses were discovered when scientists from the University of Pittsburgh studied a sample of the various sewers throughout North America, Europe and Africa. From the samples, the researchers did viral isolation to be identified. (more…)

The ability of hand sanitizers to kill germs is not as powerful as imagined. Its use must be repeated, because in just 2 minutes germs could already be on you hands again.
This appeal is related to a survey results submitted by Healthpoint, a company that markets wound care products. In the survey, it is revealed that 50 percent of Americans thought the effects of hand sanitizers last 30 times longer than the actual duration. (more…)
