HDL cholesterol is like scavengers or cleaner cholesterols. HDL cholesterol helps reduce the amount of bad cholesterol (LDL) in blood. “Rising levels of HDL cholesterol by about 10 points could reduce cancer risk which seem to be within 4.5 years,” said Dr. Richard Karas, the head researcher.
