Foods for Healthy Digestion

When digestion is not healthy, you may experience constipation. The slow process in the large intestine cause discomfort. If it is continued  in the long term, many diseases can be lodged in the body such as colon cancer. Cleaning the large intestine (colon cleansing) with a proper diet is the simplest way to maintain the colon health.

Step 1
Start the day with a breakfast rich in fiber. According to the Mayo Clinic, you should eat at least 20-35 grams of fiber each day. It is recommended to eat breakfast which include fiber-rich fruits such as apples, dates, mango and prunes. You can only take fruits or mixed it with oatmeal and cereal. (more…)

Toxicity Of The Intestine

The first step to better colon health is good hygiene which actually begins outside of our bodies. One common cause for some toxins entering the intestinal tract comes from having a nasal drip from some kind of sinus infection or cold which can introduce toxins to the intestinal tract. Another issue of course is washing our hands before we eat, any germ that is on our hands can be introduced to our intestinal tract. (more…)
