Although it does not show a direct cause of high blood pressure, this finding adds evidence that breastfeeding has benefits for both the mother and the baby. The study had been published in the ‘American Journal of Epidemiology.’

Breastfeeding has many benefits, for example like protecting infants against common diseases like diarrhea and middle ear infections.
