Dairy Products Reduce Diabetes Risk

dairy productsMilk and other dairy products are often recommended to limit the consumption, especially those high in fat. But the latest study says dairy products contain fatty acids that can prevent diabetes mellitus.

Fatty acids, called trans-palmitoleic acid in high amounts in the body will reduce risk of diabetes by 62 percent. According to a study reported in the Annals of Internal Medicine journal. (more…)

Dr.Jun Ma from California, United States, tracked links between asthma and obesity by looking at survey data of National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey in 2005-2006 involving 4500 men and women. One third of respondents are overweight and one third are obese. (more…)
