Medium Speed Walking could lower Stroke Risk

You do not need to become a marathon runner or triathlete to reduce the risk of stroke. You only have to walk at medium speed.

The researchers discovered that women who said that they walked briskly having 7 percent lower stroke risk than those who rarely walk. Those who walked at least two hours a week with any speed has a 30 percent lower risk of stroke. According to new study Harvard School of Public Health as quoted from Nydailynews, Friday (9/4/2010).
