Mood affects elderly’s brain ability

Recent studies have shown that a good mood can enhance the ability of the elderly brain.

In conducting the study, the researchers divided 46 elderly ranging in age from 63-85 years old into two equal groups. The first group was given a thank you and two small bags of candy tied with a red ribbon to improve their mood, when they will perform tests of thinking skills. Conversely, those in the second group did not receive both a thank you message or candy. (more…)
