Plastic Surgery Popularity Triggered by Facebook and Twitter
Approximately 42 percent of plastic surgery patients in the United States was informed about the plastic surgery from social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. From the information, many people that performed plastic surgery, did not get proper information from the medical side.
Data on the number of patients in the year 2011 increased sharply compared to 2010 in which the number reached 29 percent. Meanwhile, the number of patients who received information from a friend dropped from 63 percent in 2010 to 48 percent in 2011. (more…)
