Flu during pregnancy triggers bipolar disorder in infants
Being sick while pregnant is certainly not a pleasant thing. But apparently sickness effects during pregnancy not only apply to the mother, but also for the fetus in the womb.
Research shows that mothers who had flu while pregnant are at risk of having a child with bipolar disorder. Bipolar disorder is a mental disorder that makes a person’s easily experience mood changes. They can get excited and then quickly turned into sad or even angry and be brutal. (more…)
