Oral Health is Important For Pregnant Women
Pregnancy is a period in where a woman is most vulnerable to disease. And, most pregnant women tend to neglect their oral health, in fact, oral health could affect the health of the fetus. A previous study, mentions that the number of children affects mother’s dental health.
According to the Times of India, a new study suggests that there is a relationship between oral health of pregnant women with fetal health. In fact, pregnant women who have periodontal disease are seven times more likely to have premature babies. (more…)
