Apparently not. At least according to a study to see the link between fish consumption and stroke. The survey conducted in the area called “stroke belt” in America, namely Carolina, Arkansas and Louisiana, because of the high stroke patients in this area, found that the majority of the population regularly eat fish, but processed by frying. Complications of Stroke Enlarge Death Risks

stroke pictureStroke is one of the highest causes of death. Even if patients survive, there is the possibility of repetition or complication of stroke that could reduce survival rate of patients up to two years.

“Previous studies have already shown that post-stroke complications increase mortality as well as disability,” said lead researcher Dr. Keun-Sik Hong, an associate professor in the department of neurology at Ilsan Paik Hospital, Goyang, South Korea. Sleeping could Improve Our Memory

As quoted from the Methods of Healing, various researches and studies have shown that sleep can improve memory. One study conducted in 2005 by Beth Isreal of Deaconess Medical Center showed that sleep could help rehabilitate stroke patients and diseases that attack the brain.

Results from these studies is not a surprise because the study conducted several years earlier indicates that children with more sleep time tended to be more successful working on tests that require memory skills.
