Twin Babies Are At Risk of Death in their First Year
Twin babies or even triplets does look very nice and fun. However, there are other dangers lurking behind this double happiness. Twins and triplet babies have five times higher risk of death in their first year than single babies.
Data in the UK in 2009 revealed that from 706 ,248 births, there are 3,180 infants who died die before their first birthday. Meaning that there is an average of 4.5 deaths per 1,000 births. (more…)
