Premature Birth – Weight of an Infant in Brazil is Only 0.3 Kg
Carolina Terzis could be the smallest baby in Brazil. When she was born in November, the daughter of Alexandra Terzis weighs only 340 grams with a length of 27 centimeters.
According to the Daily Mail, the infant who weighs less than half a kilogram was born prematurely, in Vila da Serra Hospital, near Nova Lima, Minas Gerais. Only five months in the womb of her mother who suffered eclampsia during pregnancy. (more…)
