Women who sleeps for only four hours in a night, will eat food with an addition of 329 calories the following day. This is the result of research which is done by the ‘American Heart Association’ in 2011. Being awake at night will make us tend to eat high carbohydrate foods.

3. High desire to eat
Lack of sleep also affects levels of ghrelin hormone, which serves to tell you to eat. Ghrelin levels will be high when you lack sleep and make your desire to eat become higher. Lack of sleep will also make the production of fat increased and of course increased body weight.
