“In psychogenic erectile dysfunction, the patient has a problem with the balance of sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system,” said Paul Engelhardt, MD, author of the study.
“China’s traditional medicine tries to restore this balance. Of course it sounds like using feng shui to your underwear drawer, but it works. As much as 64 percent of men who underwent acupuncture for 6 weeks, recovered their sexual function and no further treatment is needed,” said Paul.
